Again on vinyl, today we look at a surf music album. Monsters and Mai-Tais is a recording by Jason Lee and The R.I.P.Tides, a band well-known in Tiki circles. Jason has performed at many Tiki events, and his music is loud, energetic, and fun. On this album, he takes a crack at a more ghoulish theme, which gives this music a real Halloween feel. In fact, I used one of the songs on this record, Fright Factory, to kick off my compilation disc, Panda’s Trick Or Treat. Mahalo, Jason!
